There are some strands of good news in the battle for sanity which we are all caught up in whether we like it or not! The Climate Movie is powerful. The legal moves against governments and big pharma are finally making progress in unravelling the covid scandals. Some (very few) people are beginning to realise that the west's Ukraine war has been lost.......... but where this will lead our deluded politicians is anybody's guess.

UKRAINE
While our politicians, mass media and the BBC continue to spout pompous misguided propaganda about war the people of Ukraine suffer and the world waits for the next tragic and uncomfortable unfolding of this foolish disaster. These are my comments on the coverage by the Daily Telegraph........... This war needs to stop.
Sad, mad and quite deluded
This lust for war must be concluded
Politicians may crow and wave their little flags
before they cruise off home in their comfy Jags
But do they really care about poor Ukraine
Destroyed and sacrificed in mortal pain
While our armchair warriors huff and puff
It's got to stop – I've had enough
No sign of wisdom or good sense here
Things will get much worse, that's what I fear
Some readers may remember the words I wrote almost exactly 10 years ago.
It seems the politicians, the BBC and the mass media are still stupid enough to believe their own propaganda!

JUNE
We've never had a time when an election seems so stupid and unpopular. We've never had a time when the mainstream media are almost completely ignoring the utterly insane decisions of our leaders to allow Zelensky to attack targets deep in Russia. This means our British weapons and taxpayer's money are being used openly to kill Russians – THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT OK! European leaders seem to be hypnotised by the neocons in the USA – now buying expensive gas and expensive weapons from a country that is supposed to be a friend. In reality the main benefit of the Ukraine war has been the destruction of the EU economy and the great trade benefits to the US. Meanwhile Zelensky and his pals continue a hopeless fight like the crazy knights in a Monty Python sketch and Russia and China cannot believe their good fortune as more and more important countries get ready to sign up to the BRICS (big economic summit coming up in St Petersburg shortly).
I remain determined to set up the RHINO party (a non-political political party which simply exists to enable those who care to say “NO”). Anyone interested please get in touch.
I recommend two books by Lionel Schriver - “The Mandibles” and “Mania” - very dark humour, very perceptive and very entertaining.
